FEDERAL FIRE SERVICE TRAINING SCHOOL SURULERE – LAGOS

TRAINING PROGRAMME/COURSES FOR THE YEAR 2012.

The Federal Fire Service School is an arm of the Federal Fire Service Department in the Federal Ministry of Interior with the responsibilities of training industrial workers as well as Government employees on First Aid Fire Fighting Courses with the aims and objectives of minimizing fire-outbreak in our environment and premises.

Our function is not constrained to training industrial workers; we also train men and women from our sister Fire Services in courses related to different grades.  Since the introduction of First Aid Fire Fighting which came into being two decades ago, we have trained over 200,000 industrial workers.  This development has reduced considerably numbers of fire out-break in the country.  With this achievement, we are determined to train more men and women from interested companies as First Aid Fire Fighters who would prevent and combat fire out-break should there be any in their premises before the arrival of professionals.
